Madonna Circle is a non-profit organization founded in 1936, which provides Catholic women opportunities for service, fellowship and spiritual growth while improving the Memphis community by stewardship and charity. Last fall, we were approached by the wonderful ladies at Madonna Circle to be a part of their fundraising event, A Table To Toast, benefiting Camp Learn and Love, a summer camp for at-risk children in Memphis. This debut event was to be centered around the home and garden, appealing to a wide range of ages. The luncheon featured Susan Ferrier, of McAlpine Booth & Ferrier Interiors, as the keynote speaker, with a book signing of her new book, Art Of The House.
We were thrilled to be among the 20 designers chosen in the Memphis area to create a table for this event, and we quickly started brainstorming! With the event being held at the Memphis Botanic Gardens, we wanted to keep our design light and airy, but with our signature Bella Vita rustic touch. Check out how Steph and I transformed our table with some of our Bella Vita favorites! -Kelly, The Marketing Girl

The beginnings of our fabulous table
Embroidered linen napkins with our olive leaf logo
Our bright and cheery flowers for the centerpiece
Our table also featured heavy and rustic iron votives and vases from Jan Barboglio that we filled with different size candles to add a little twinkle of light! We finished off the table with a large scale floral arrangement that I designed. Nothing says "Hello spring!" quite like a tons of hydrangeas, roses, ranunculus, and succulents!
Our finished design was a true representation of our store, and we loved all the individual elements that were brought together for this fun and rustic look! We are already looking forward to the fun things we can come up with for next years event!
