Wedding Season

It's hard to believe that  March has already come and gone. As the days continually pass, we can't help but hum the lyrics to the classic song "Love is in the air". We know what you're thinking...isn't it a little late for a Valentine's Day post? Sure, you've got a point--but there is a second "unofficial" season that is just beginning and simply can't go unrecognized as we welcome the spring and summer months. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to wedding season!

If you're anything like us, it can be a little difficult to find the perfect gift for a special bride and groom. Don't let that April shower get you down my friend, because we've got the perfect unique wedding or shower gift idea for you, fit for a variety of tastes and interests. Our friends at Clairebella bring six great items that are both unique and practical, and the best part is they are all personalized for that one of a kind feel.

Who doesn't need coasters? Try this fun patterned set, and be the first thing the newlyweds think of when they sit down for a glass of sweet tea.

Grocery lists, honey-dos, or sweet nothings fit perfectly on this great stackable notepad.

Help contribute to your bride or groom's techie side with a personalized iPhone cover. Style and substance is essential for the phone, too!

Every domestic diva needs a good cutting board...and with the new last name on display, it's even more special.

Everyone has cream and white everyday plates. Don't get me wrong, they're great, but why not add in a little flair with a fun pattern and color? It's the perfect compliment to the basic dinnerware, and can be used anytime.

Use it for food, use it for decor, use it for entertaining--this tray is a great all around piece with so many uses it's impossible to list them all.

Well, hopefully at this point we've accomplished two things. One, you're humming "Love is in the Air", and two, you're feeling great about the creative and unique wedding gift you'll be showing off at that upcoming wedding or shower!

Deck the Walls

Canvas art is a great way to fill your walls and add depth and dimension to a room. Not to mention it draws your character and personality into the space as well.

If you're feeling like a room or two in your home need a spring "pick-me-up", check out our current canvas art inventory. Chances are you'll find one (or more!) that fits your personality to a "T". Is there a better way to infuse your home with style and one-of-a-kind charm? We think not!

Here's a few of our favorite pieces we have in the store right now. Enjoy!

It's always festive and fun to update your home for the holiday season. This time of year, there are not one, but two reasons to spruce up your living space--to brighten things up with spring colors and to celebrate Easter.

So you've got the inside of your house covered...the usual floral accents, Easter egg-filled apothecary jars, bunny statues...but what about the outside of your home? It is the first impression of your humble abode after all, and we all know that first impressions have a huge impact. Don't fret, my decorative accent challenged friend, because we have the perfect solution for your bland front-of-house woes: the Easter Burlee.

Our good friends have created these unique, burlap crafted door hangers-- the perfect accent to any home and a welcoming seasonal decorative touch. They come in a variety of shapes: a painted Easter egg, Easter bunny, and cute owl (which could even be used year-round).  Hang them on your front door or your back door; either way these all-weather accents are the perfect way to brighten up your home and show a little Easter spirit!
